Gym Floor

We've completely redesigned our gym floor to ensure every piece of equipment is at least 1.5 meters apart.

Hand sanitiser dispensers

We have four hand sanitiser dispensers around the club, please use these multiple times during your session.

Your details will be logged

Upon entry, we will track your time of entry and keep a detailed log of all users entering and exiting the club (including non members)

group training timetable

Our group training studios have been consolidated to one studio which will include boxing, functional and yoga sessions Monday to Sunday (see online timetable). A maximum of 16 members per class has been introduced.

1 hour Maximum training time

We ask that you use the gym for no longer than 1 hour at a time and keep your sessions as efficient as possible to ensure we're not crowding the floor

Maximum of 60 members at a time

A maximum of 60 members at a time will be allowed in the club. This is reduced from the NSW Government's recommendation of 100 to ensure all social distancing guidelines are followed.

P.E. Department is 700sqm and easily fits comfortably within the guidelines from the NSW Government

The black rubber tiles on the floor are 1 x 1sqm and can be used as an easy reference for social distancing from other members

Operating Hours & Timetable

Member hours

Monday-Thursday: 6am – 8pm
Friday: 6am – 6pm
Saturday: 7am – 3pm
Sunday: 7:30am – 12:30pm 

Non-Member hours

Monday-Friday: 8am – 6pm
Saturday: 8am – 2pm
Sunday: 7:30am – 11:30am

These hours will change as we progress into step 3 or the government allows gym users to workout unsupervised. 

Personal Health and Safety Guidelines

  • If you are feeling unwell, fluey, have a temperature or have experienced shortness of breath at any point during the day, please do not enter P.E. Department and touch base with your local GP as soon as possible
  • Exercise appropriate coughing and/or sneezing etiquette (coughing or sneezing into your elbow or going outside)
  • When in public, exercise all social distancing measures at all times
  • We have four hand sanitiser dispensers around the club, please ensure you're using these multiple times during your session

Cleaning Procedures

Our clean team use high-grade disinfectants to thoroughly clean the change rooms, studios, equipment, and common areas.

As always, we do a nightly deep clean of the entire gym. 

We’re paying extra attention to disinfecting all high-touch areas like counter tops, door handles, railings and locker handles.

Cleans are done during and between peak gym hours.

Detailed wipe down all handles of dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, both sides of ab/stretching mats, and benches used around those areas 

Detailed wipe down of screens, handles, side skirts, surrounding areas of equipment that are at risk of attracting sweat or droplets from the nose and mouth 

Detailed wipe down of all handles (including all handle additions), back rests, seats, upholstery, weight plates, weight pins and surrounding touch points and protective screens 

Detailed wipe down of all flush buttons, toilet paper dispensers, hand paper dispensers, taps, tap handles, inside sinks, jars, deodorant cans and all bathroom amenities, outside of lockers and key pads for lockers

Detailed wipe down of staircase handrail, top of front desk, all door handles, top of the towel bin, leather benches in hallway and computer keyboard and mouse tons, toilet paper dispensers, hand paper dispensers, taps, tap handles, inside sinks, jars, deodorant cans and all bathroom amenities, outside of lockers and key pads for lockers

Member Expectations

We expect that all members or users of P.E. Department:

  • Exercise the utmost diligence when considering their personal health
  • Check in with front desk upon entry to log their time of entry and to sanitise
  • Thoroughly wash their hands before entering and sanitise their hands before, during and after their training session
  • Socially distance and respect the personal space of all other gym goers
  • To wipe their equipment down before and after use
  • Respect our staff if requested to wipe equipment, socially distance or to adhere to any post-covid regulations

We will launch all information regarding concessions once we are back on our feet and running smoothly. We hope to launch all concessions after Stage 3 of the lockdown. Yes please! We ask that all equipment is back by Friday, June 12. It’s incredibly important we get all equipment back ASAP. 

We are limiting only 60 members at a time. Based on our 700sqm floor space, this ensures everyone has plenty of space and adheres to the Federal Government’s social distancing protocols. Staff will be monitoring the numbers on the gym floor, cardio room and squat cage room to ensure the total does not exceed 60 and all social distancing requirements are adhered to.

Yes, we are making sure all cleaning, distancing and capacity guidelines are adhered to for staff and members to ensure safety while training in the gym. 

We have capped our sessions at 16 members plus the coach. This number is well under the guidelines of from the NSW government and will ensure a safe environment for you to sweat it out!
